`Simple statistical model for phase transitions`

The Ising model describes particles with 2 possibles states (spin up, spin down) sitting on a lattice. The interaction is by neighbors.

In dimension at least 2, there is a phase transition: at low temperatures, the spins tend to align (ferromagnetic behavior), whereas for high temperature, the distribution is chaotic.
